Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has said that it will sustain its special dietary plan for pilgrims with diabetic ailment during the 2026 Hajj exercise.
A statement signed by Habibu Babura, the board’s Public Relations Officer, made this known on Friday.
The statement disclosed that Labbo emphasized that the initiative is a measure to enhance the well-being and health of the pilgrims.
According to Labbo, the welfare and health of the pilgrims, are priority for the board, noting that they will not relent in their efforts to satisfy their needs.
He further stated that special arrangements have been made for three meals daily, a practice that Jigawa State has sustained over the years.
The DG in the statement, commended Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state, for supporting the board in boosting the welfare of the pilgrims.
