Tinubu Support Group Launches Free CBT Training for 2,250 Katsina JAMB Candidates

Katsina, April 1, 2026

A political support group, Tinubu/Dikko Assured (TDA 2027), has launched a free computer-based test (CBT) training programme for 2,250 candidates of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board across Katsina State.

The initiative targets candidates whose registration fees were earlier sponsored by the group under the leadership of Umar Ahmad-Zayyad, as part of efforts to enhance their preparedness for the forthcoming examinations.

The training programme was formally flagged off on Thursday at the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management, with over 1,000 students from Katsina Zone participating in the first phase.

Speaking at the event, the Katsina State Coordinator of the group, Ibrahim Khalil, described the initiative as one of several interventions designed to promote educational advancement and youth development in the state.

Stakeholders at the launch commended the organisation’s commitment to improving access to quality educational support, particularly in preparing candidates for computer-based examinations.

Also speaking, the State Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Bala Musawa, urged beneficiaries to remain focused and maximise the opportunity provided by the training, noting that diligence would enable them to achieve the programme’s objectives.

In his remarks, the member representing Katsina Local Government in the State Assembly, Aliyu Abubakar-Albaba, lauded the initiative and called on other organisations to emulate similar efforts in supporting education.

The group’s patron, Dr Muttaka Rabe-Darma, assured that adequate resources would be deployed to equip candidates with the requisite knowledge and skills needed to excel in the examinations.

Similarly, the group’s leader, Zayyad-Ahmad, pledged to sponsor the first school registration of candidates who score 200 and above in the examination, further incentivising academic excellence among participants.
