Residents of Biu, Bayo, Kwaya Kusar and Shani Federal Constituency in Borno State have praised the member representing the area in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mukhtar Aliyu Betara, for executing projects aimed at improving infrastructure, security and youth development.
Among the projects attracting public attention is the construction of a 1,500-capacity stadium in Bayo Local Government Area to promote youth engagement and talent development.
The lawmaker also built office accommodation and staff quarters for personnel of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Hon. Betara further supported security operations through the construction of modern police stations across the constituency and the provision of ambulances to improve emergency response services.
Residents who conducted journalists round parts of Bayo and Biu described the road construction projects across major streets in Biu, Bayo and Kwaya Kusar as one of the constituency’s most significant achievements.
Many constituents expressed appreciation for the projects and pledged support for the lawmaker ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Observers noted that increased commitment to grassroots development by public office holders could accelerate national growth and improve security across the country.
